DIY; MEDICINALS - Cannabis Oil and Tincture Production

by M Jvlian Simmons

There has been lots of recent talk about the legalization of "marijuana"/cannabis and hemp in the 2K-teens.
It had once been villainized by the general public over the last century but now is being recognized more in society for its healing and regenerative properties even though one can't currently 'claim' so, according to USDA standards and testing.
One-by-one, then two-by-two, more states are amending their local legislation to permit its growth, sale, transport and medicinal/recreational usage.
Soon, there will be neighborhood distribution centers and dispensaries that provide top-notch strains for all in need.

Public enjoyment will be commonplace, as there are a myriad of products to choose from including pastries, oils, gums, hand-held vaping pens and more, all without fear of legal reprisals.

OILS, EXTRACTS AND TINCTURES
Cannabis Oil: This ain't your daddy's weed.
Its more recently being called "the pork bellies of pot", this infusion/concentration process that increases the potency and overall value of that pungent plant which eliminates 9/10 of the distinct odor, bulkiness and recognizability.

This process also allows non-smokers/vapers options to make and/or take delicious edibles (cookies, brownies, breads, brews, etc.) for patients with chronic and/or terminal sicknesses and even in drops, topical rub form for transdermal use.
The following is a video playlist on how to convert the plant into oils, extracts and tinctures.
